Ataraxia “freedom from anxiety” is a borrowing from the Ancient Greek noun ataraxía. 
To me it’s a state of freedom from emotional disturbance and anxiety; tranquillity - or the feeling I get when things are going right in the studio. 

Ataraxia is an original 100cm x 100cm oil on deep edge linen. She can be framed upon request & I recommend a simple dark tray frame. 

Ataraxia can be shipped worldwide on the stretcher bars and is ready to be hung directly.
